UC Davis ADVANCE received a supplemental award from the National
Science Foundation in 2012 and founded the Capital
Resource Network (CRN). Shortly after receipt of the
supplemental award, the CRN was moved to the Vice Provost Office
for Academic Affairs to help facilitate its mission. While housed
within ADVANCE from 2012-2014, the CRN successfully:
Launched a dual-career and integration program to improve
recruitment and retention and assist prospective and new faculty,
staff, and their families.
Since its inception, the CRN has provided over 80
client referrals employment consultations.
